Fish and Wildlife staff along with Forest Service Personnel facilitated the 2014 quota deer hunt in the Beaver Creek Wildlife Management Area in McCreary County.  Approximately one hundred, forty hunters arrived at the Beaver Creek Office to register for the hunt.  This year, hunters were only allowed to harvest antlered bucks.  Ten bucks were harvested by the end of the two day hunt.  As an interesting side note, more than one hunter reported sighting a black bear.
