McCreary Central places 12th in State Meet

LEXINGTON - McCreary Central senior Jordan Tucker finished 23rd in the Class 2A State Cross Country Meet at the Kentucky Horse Park in on Saturday. Tucker finished the 5,000 meter run in 17:37.42.

Christian Academy (Louisville) senior Steven Ott won the Class 2A championship by finishing the race in 16:07.03.

Lexington Catholic captured the team title.

Turning in a solid performance, McCreary Central placed 12th in the team standings.

Head coach Trevor Tucker guided the Raiders to the 12th place finish.
