Raiders excel at tournament in Perry County

HAZARD – The McCreary Central High School wrestling team turned in a solid all-around performance in the Nick Cory Takedown Tournament at Perry County Central High School on Saturday. Collectively, McCreary Central, under the direction of head coach Gary Parriman, produced one first-place, seven second-place, three third-place and two fourth-place finishes.
“I am very proud of this very young team, we really performed well,” Parriman said, following his team’s performance in the Perry County Central-hosted tournament.
