65th Wedding Anniversary

Donald L. Koon and Evelyn L. (Ledbetter) Koon of Whitley City celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on August 4th. Donald was born in Marion, IN. He just turned 84 on July 28. he is a war veteran and is a retired Army Sergeant (22 yrs). Evelyn was born in Fidelity, McCreary County and raised at Blue Heron (mine 18). She is the little girl with the pig tails in the picture at the school house structure. They traveled the world and ended up right back here. They have 3 children 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way.
