McCreary County Sheriff Randy Waters announced this week the promotion of Deputy Jerry Meadows to the rank of Sergeant. Meadows, who has served the Sheriff’s Department since 2004 said he was “honored” by the promotion and “will continue to serve the citizens of McCreary County in my new role as Sergeant.”
April 19th
Deputy Milford Creekmore arrested Daniel R. Tucker of Whitley City on a bench warrant.
Deputy Charles Perry arrested Gabriel S. Garcia of Whitley City on charges of menacing, resisting arrest, disarming a police officer, disorderly conduct, and assault (x2).
Deputy Bill Tucker served a complaint warrant against Matthew Garland of Whitley City on charges of theft by unlawful taking.
Deputy Cecil Powers arrested Neal E. Channing of Whitley City on charges of menacing and receiving stolen property.
Deputy M. Creekmore served a warrant against Michael West for flagrant non-support.
