Thursday wreck injures three

Three individuals were injured in this Thursday morning accident at the intersection of U.S. 27 and E. Appletree Rd. According to Deputy Jerry Meadows, a southbound Dodge van, driven by Ann Six, 73, apparently went through a changing light and struck a Chevy Malibu, which was turning left onto the highway from the E. Appletree intersection. The driver of the Malibu, Wendy Allen, 38, was airlifted for medical attention. Six, and her passenger, James Six, 67, were transported by McCreary County EMS for treatment.
