12 indicted by Grand Jury

Twelve individuals were named in ten indictments handed down by the McCreary County Grand Jury this month.

Joseph Luckadoo, of Strunk, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-support for allegedly failing to provide support for his minor children, knowing he had obligation to do so.

Sabra Troxell, of Whitley City, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-support for allegedly failing to provide support for her minor children, knowing she had obligation to do so.

Brandon T. Stephens, of Strunk, was indicted on two charges of Flagrant Non-support for allegedly failing to provide support for his minor children, knowing he had obligation to do so.

Stephens was also indicted on a charge of being a Persistent Felony Offender after a previous conviction of Aiding and Abetting Theft from Interstate Commerce by the United States District Court in 2009.

Lyle Craig McDonald, A.K.A. Deuce McDonald, of Pine Knot, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree, Second Offense, for reportedly being found to possess three Oxycodone by KSP Detective Billy Correll on February 12, after a previous conviction of Possession of a Controlled Substance in 2005.

Chas G. Anderson, of Whitley City, was indicted on a charge of Bail Jumping First Degree for allegedly failing to appear at a McCreary County Circuit Court date on August 25.

William Wilson, of Whitley City, and Adam Bennett, of Parkers Lake, were indicted on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property over $500 but less than $10,000 for allegedly having a stolen Whirlpool steam dryer in their possession.

Wilson and Bennett were both also charged with being Persistent Felony Offenders. Wilson had a 2009 conviction for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Bennett had previous convictions for Robbery Second Degree in 2010 and Receiving Stolen Property in 2009.

James Morgan, of Stearns, was charged with Cultivating Marijuana 5 Plants for reportedly cultivating five plants of marijuana on August 6.

Randall Stevens, of Stearns, was charged with a count of Burglary Second Degree for reportedly unlawfully entering a residence with the intent of committing a crime on June 30.

William A. Colbaugh, Jr., A.K.A. Rusty Colbaugh Jr., was indicted on two separate counts of Persistent Felony Offender following his indictments for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Theft by Failure to Make required Disposition of Property in July.

Colbaugh has previous convictions of Flagrant Non-Support in the Muhlenburg Circuit Court in 2002, and Theft of Identity in 2011. Ronnie Davenport, of Pine Knot, and Christopher Davenport, were charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $500 but less than $10,000 for reportedly possessing a stolen front end differential from a case fork life on July 21.

Christopher Davenport also was charged with being a Persistent Felony Offender after previous convictions of Fleeing or Evading in 2010, Burglary Second Degree in 2008 and Theft by Unlawful Taking in 2001.

The Voice would like to remind our readers that an indictment is not an indication of one’s guilt or innocence, but represents that enough evidence exists in a case to pursue the matter in a court of law.
