November is American Diabetes Month

November is recognized as American Diabetes Month here in the United States.  November 14th is World Diabetes Day across the globe.  County Judge Executive, Doug E. Stephens, has signed a Proclamation declaring November 14th as Diabetes Awareness Day in McCreary County.

If you have diabetes, take steps today to improve your control — it is not always easy, but it is worth it!  If you don’t have diabetes, talk to your health care provider to see if you are at risk.
