One flown out after Tuesday accident

A Tuesday evening accident on Airport Road resulted in one passenger being airlifted IMG_4638with non life-threatening injuries, and two others suffering from cuts and abrasions.

According to McCreary County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Horne, an Oldsmobile Silhouette, driven by Jordan Miracle, 18, was driving north on Airport Road, near the McCreary County Airport around 6:40 p.m.

The vehicle reportedly hit a loose patch of gravel, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and subsequently rolling it over.

At least two of the individuals were thrown from the vehicle during the accident, but fortunately none were seriously injured. An unidentified passenger was airlifted to a local medical facility by AirEvac as a precaution.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Wendell Higgenbotham and Members of the South McCreary Fire Department responded to the scene as well.
