Grand Jury Indicts 15

The McCreary County Grand Jury met just before Christmas to return indictments against 15 individuals in 11 separate indictments last week.

Curtis Bloodworth, Geneva Ridner and Sarena Summers, all of Whitley City, along with Michael Cole of Pine Knot, were indicted on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia stemming from a November 7 incident where the individuals were allegedly found to possess two or more chemicals used in the making of methamphetamine and a syringe.

Ridner was also charged with being a Persistent Felony Offender First Degree after being convicted of Complicity to Commit Burglary in 2012 and Possession of a Forged instrument in 2009.

Persistent Felony Offender Second Degree charges were also levied against Cole following previous convictions of Burglary, Receiving Stolen Property and Theft by Unlawful Taking in 2009.

Magdalene Wilson and Russell Grundy, of Revelo, were named in four drug trafficking-related charges. The couple were charged with Trafficking in a Controlled First Degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Second Degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Third Degree and Trafficking in Marijuana under 8 Ounces. Wilson and Grundy were reportedly found to possess over 20 oxycodone, 4 oxycontin, 13 hydrocodone, 25 tramadol, 2 suboxone strips, 4 xanax and a quantity of marijuana on June 7, along with a .38 caliber revolver.

Patricia Nixon, of Pine Knot, was charged with Program Assistance Fraud for allegedly knowingly withholding information of her husband’s income to receive food stamp benefits for a total of $9,882.

Abbi Maxwell, of Whitley City, was indicted on one count of Fleeing or evading Police First Degree and one count of Resisting Arrest after allegedly attempted to prevent officers from arresting her on October 16.

Matthew Dixon, of Pine Knot, was charged with Flagrant Non-Support for allegedly persistently failing to provide support for his minor child.

Jeff Anderson, of Pine Knot, was charged with Flagrant Non-Support for allegedly persistently failing to provide support for his minor children.

Anthony Bolin, of Pine Knot, was charged with Flagrant Non-Support for allegedly persistently failing to provide support for his minor child and being a Persistent Felony Offender following previous convictions of Receiving Stolen Property in 2011 and 2007, as well as Theft of Identity in 2011.

Ronnie Davenport was charged with Bail Jumping First Degree after reportedly failing to appear for a scheduled court date on October 1.

James Jones, of Whitley City, was indicted on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine Second Offense on September 28. Jones was previously convicted of Manufacture of Methamphetamine in 2011.

Dylan Waters was indicted on one count of Burglary First Degree for allegedly unlawfully entering a residence on November 7 with the intent to commit a crime.

Alisha Cooper was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument Second Degree for reportedly cashing a forged check in the amount of $175.00 at Forcht Bank on September 19.
