Oath of Office

McCreary County Judge Executive Doug Stephens held a swearing-in ceremony last Wednesday for officials before they started their new term at 12:01 a.m. Monday morning. Among the new inductees were Sheriff Randy Waters, Coroner Tim Corder, Jailer Jessie Hatfield, Magistrates Leroy Perry and Duston Baird. Law enforcement officers took an additional oath, as required by state law.
