Kentucky Senator Chris McDaniel visits County

Kentucky Senator Chris McDaniel visited McCreary County on January 21, 2015 to meet and answer questions from county residents.  McDaniel is currently running for Lieutenant Governor on a ticket with Agriculture Commissioner and candidate for Governor James Comer.  McDaniel is currently the chairman of the powerful Kentucky Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committee, the committee that sets the budget for the state.  Senator McDaniel fielded questions about a variety of topics including job creation, healthcare, drug rehabilitation, pension plans, and the Phil Moffett Bill concerning state jails.
