Three individuals were injured in an accident on Webb Warman Hill in Revelo late Monday morning. The Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash, which resulted in the two drivers being arrested and three passengers in a Honda Accord being transported for emergency medical care after their vehicle struck a second car head-on, after reportedly crossing into the wrong lane of traffic.

Kentucky State Police Reconstructionist Craig Reed was attempting to piece together the exact cause of the crash after both drivers claimed they were trying to avoid the other vehicle in the wrong lane of traffic.

The driver of a Pontiac Sunfire, identified as Mark Soard, 47, of Pine Knot, was uninjured but arrested at the scene under suspicion of driving under the influence.

Jeremiah Hill, 26, of Strunk, driving the Honda Accord, was also unharmed, but arrested on outstanding warrants at the scene.

Three passengers in Hill’s vehicle, identified as Destiny Hall, Clint Ridner and Amber Ridner, were all transported by McCreary County EMS, with one of the victims requiring an emergency airlift for treatment.

Trooper Craig Reed, along with Trooper Matt Ridener and Trooper Shaler Jones are conducting the investigation.

Members of the Whitley City and Pine Knot Fire Departments, along with Deputy Charlie Perry of the McCreary County Sheriff’s Department and Park Service Officer Raymond Little assisted at the scene
