Taking PRIDE in the Community

Joining forces primarily from McCreary and Whitley Counties on Saturday morning, two hundred forty-nine volunteers braved the unexpectedly chilly temperatures to make the 2015 Cumberland Falls PRIDE clean-up a success.  One hundred eleven volunteers worked diligently on the McCreary County side of the falls along HWY 90 collecting two hundred fifty-three bags of trash, eight tires, and one chair.  After completing their clean-up efforts, the volunteers enjoyed a hot dog picnic luncheon and the presentation of awards and door prizes.
