Primary student threatens classmates

A primary school student is facing discipline after allegedly threatening two fellow students on a school bus.

According to McCreary County Schools Superintendent Donnie Wright the incident happened on a bus after school last Wednesday afternoon when the child allegedly threatened to bring a weapon to school on the next day with the intent of harming two students.

The bus driver informed Wright of the incident, who then contacted the parents of the students involved and the Kentucky State Police was notified who conducted their own investigation.

School officials state the child who made the threats would not be back at the school until further notice. No disruption of class or schedule resulted from the incident.
