Hampton to appear at Uptown Opry

Joe Hampton, will be appearing at Hap Strunk’s, Uptown Opry, Friday, May 8, 15 Widely recognized as one of country music’s top talents, Joe, worked in Merle Haggard’s Band, “The Strangers” for many years, as lead guitarist, vocalist and sound engineer. Come enjoy Joe’s outstanding performance at the Uptown Opry. In it’s ninth season, the Uptown Opry, located at 25 Main Street, in Whitley City, Ky., is home to some of the area’s best entertainers and hosts  “up and comers” and Legends from Nashville, Tn., such as Kentucky’s Country Music Sweetheart, Amber Martin, singer/songwriter David Chamberlain, a favorite writer of George Strait, Tanya Tucker and many other top acts, and Steel Guitar Legend, Lynn Owsley, former Texas Troubador.   The Uptown Opry, is a family friendly show, in a comfortable, smoke free venue.
