Eku Offering Professional Development Course On Evacuation

RICHMOND – Eastern Kentucky University’s OSHA Training Institute Education Center will offer a course on evacuation and emergency planning at four of its regional campuses this fall.

The course will provide detailed information to prepare participants to develop evacuation and emergency planning that focuses on OSHA requirements for emergency action plans and fire protection plans.

Titled OSHA 7105: Evacuation & Emergency Planning, the course is offered in conjunction with the EKU Center for Appalachian Regional Engagement and Stewardship.

Dates and locations are as follows:

• Manchester: Manchester Regional Campus, 50 University Drive

Monday, Sept. 28 – Somerset: EKU Somerset Center, 46 Turpen Court

Thursday, Oct. 29 – Danville: Danville Campus, 1560 Hustonville Road, Suite 241

Tuesday, Nov. 17 – Corbin: Corbin Regional Campus, 1 Pennington Way

Thursday, Dec.17 –  The course runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at each campus.
