Everyone Loves a Parade
More than 40 entries in parade and growing
This year’s Heritage Trail Days parade, scheduled for Saturday October 3 at 12:00 (noon), is shaping up to be a happy event. With forty parade entries already submitted and much interest shown by the community, organizers of the parade have decided to delay the deadline for parade applications until September 18. So far, parade applications have been submitted by businesses, churches, schools, government agencies, clubs, communities, and others.
If you or your organization would like to join the parade, applications can be picked up at the McCreary County Tourism Office after 1:00 p.m. M-F or downloaded at www.heritagetraildays.com. The $5.00 registration fee will be used for cash prizes for winners in each parade category. Parade entry applications are due September 18, Friday.
