Jones wins reelection to Highland Board

Shelva Jo Jones managed to retain her seat on the Highland Communications Board of Directors after elections were held Saturday.

Jones, representing the 376 exchange in Whitley City and Stearns held off challenges from two opponents Gus Skinner and Jimmy Waters.

Jones pulled 126 votes, while challengers Gus Skinner and Jimmy Waters garnered 79 and 24 votes respectively.
