Local Law enforcement officers seized a large amount of cash, guns and drugs from a Revelo residence earlier this month after a late-night investigation turned up what could be a large-scale illegal drug operation.
Deputies went to the home off Pigskin Road armed with a search warrant after an earlier arrest turned up evidence indicating the residence was being used for the sale of drugs.
Upon making entry officers found several lock boxes scattered throughout the residence, as well as multiple cell phones and various other items believed to have been traded in exchange for drugs.
Over $10,000 in cash was recovered from within the home, most of it secreted away in the lock boxes.
Also seized in the raid were 16 guns, an unspecified amount of methamphetamine and various other illegal drugs.
While no arrests were made at the time, Sheriff Randy Waters stated the case will be presented to the McCreary County Grand Jury to seek an indictment against the suspect in the case.
Working the scene were Sheriff Waters, Fish and Wildlife Officer Chris King, Kentucky State Police Trooper Matt Ridener, Trooper Wendel Higgenbotham, Deputies Milford Creekmore, Cecil Powers, Charles Perry and Greg Chaney
