Story Time with McKenzie the Owl on December 19 at Bandy Creek Visitor Center

Oneida, Tennessee:  Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will present an interpretative program at the Bandy Creek Visitor Center on Saturday, December 19, at 1:00 p.m. (ET).  Join Park Ranger Mary Grimm and McKenzie the owl for a fun afternoon of story time and learn about owls.  McKenzie is an injured Barred Owl that has been rehabilitated and is now being used for educational programming.  Enjoy an afternoon of children’s books about owls read by Ranger Grimm and learn more about this wonderful species.

This interpretive program is accessible and free of charge.  Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Everyone is welcome.  For directions and additional information, please call the Bandy Creek Visitor Center at (423) 286-7275.
