The Giving Tree

Rhonda Kendciorski (left) and Alli Hamlin (right) are shown placing gloves, mittens, and other items on the “Giving Tree” at the McCreary County Public Library.  The special tree is hosted by the McCreary County Schools Community Education VIPS and the Library until December 18.  The tree is decorated with donations of hats, scarves, socks and mittens to be given to special children in the community.  Members of the public may hang donations on the tree or drop them off at the library or at the Community Education/VIPS Office in the middle building at the old McCreary County Preschool in Pine Knot.
