McCreary County Chamber of Commerce Cuts Ribbon for a Family Tradition

Mickey’s Southern Charm Flower Shop has opened in the former Papa’s Pizza building in North Whitley City on HWY 27.  Owned and operated by Carla and Darren Kidd and formerly known as Mickey’s Flowers in the Big M Plaza, the shop was originally established in 1973 by Carla’s mother, Mickey Maxwell.  The business is truly a family tradition with Carla’s daughters, Chelsea and Katlyn helping out as needed.  Carla is excited about the move and says the shop will feature flowers for all occasions, candleberry candles, wind chimes, throws, quilts, bears, angels, and much more.
