New Ambulance

The McCreary County Ambulance Service took possession of their newest ambulance Wednesday. The unit cost about $88,000, with $50,000 of that from a grant and the remainder from the truck equipment fund established by the Ambulance Service. Rescue 85 come with a brand new chassis equipped with a refurbished box from an old ambulance. This is the third new unit added to the fleet, with Director Jimmy Barnett planning on replacing the remaining three old units.
