MCHS Baseball and Softball Field Upgrades

Construction work is underway for needed improvements to the McCreary Central High School Baseball and Softball facilities. In addition to needed repairs in the Baseball locker room, work is being done to upgrade the backstop and bring the old bleacher system up to code. Over at the Softball field, work has begun on the new complex, which will include a locker room, concession stand and bathroom facilities. While the Baseball field upgrades should be completed, weather permitting, before the end of next month, construction at the softball facility will take longer, but hopefully will be done before the end of the season. Both teams start their seasons on March 15, but do not have home games scheduled until the end of the month to accommodate the construction.
