Decoration Day

Memories of growing up and/or working at Stearns’ Blue Heron coal mining camp were shared with visitors and Park Service personnel at the Decoration Homecoming event.  Visitors were able to listen to live music, share memories, and learn more about life at Blue Heron when it was a bustling community.
