Going to the Market

Opening Day of the McCreary County Farmers’ Market blossomed as a wide variety of vendors featured their locally made or grown crafts, plants, and fresh produce.  A steady stream of shoppers were tempted by fresh produce, homemade soaps, crafts, jellies, flowers, homemade sausage biscuits, and other tempting items.  The Farmers’ Market will be open every Saturday throughout the summer and into the fall at 9:00 a.m. until sold out and is located just off Wilburn Ross Road beside the Soil Conservation Office.
