The Derby Day Scramble

Derby Day 2016 was festive at the Stearns Golf Course as it hosted its first ever Derby Day Scramble.  As part of the celebration, members recognized two lifetime supporters of the second oldest nine hole golf course in Kentucky.  Surrounded by their children and grandchildren during a brief “on course” ceremony, the longtime supporters, Eddie Brown and Larry “Doc” Coffey, were happy to see trees planted in their honor on the golf course.   Derby Day also provided an excellent opportunity for visitors to see the inside of the newly redecorated club house.
