Lincoln Day Dinner

The McCreary County Republican Party hosted its Lincoln Dinner last week.  With representatives from the offices of U.S. Congressman Hal Rogers, U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell speaking to the group, McCreary County’s state senator, Max Wise, served as keynote speaker.  Wise shared a legislative update with those in attendance.    The following individuals were inducted into the Hall of Fame:  Milton Morrow, Jo Kidd, Jimmie Greene.  Inductees honored posthumously were Clarence and Cora Cooper, Nip and Evelyn Perkins, Maxine Jones Waters, Dr. Scotty Little, Judge Joe Williams, Judge Carl Anderson, Judge Archie Brown, Richard “Dick” Wilson, Charles Trammell, and James O. Jones.
