Teddy Bear Round Up

The second annual Teddy Bear Round Up motorcycle ride took place on Saturday in an effort to collect teddy bears for McCreary County Police, EMS, and Firefighters to give to children encountered during crisis situations such as fires, wrecks, etc.  The bears are given to comfort children in the midst of traumatic experiences.  Organizers for the event included bikers belonging to the firefighter/EMS biker group Brother’s Keeper, KSP Jay Vanover, and McCreary County Sheriff’s Deputy Odell Smith.
