The Uptown Opry Show is Coming to The Fair

On Friday Night June 24, the Uptown Opry House will be quiet and still, as Hap Strunk, brings his big Uptown Opry Show outside to the McCreary County fair.

In it’s 10th season,  Hap’ Strunk’s Uptown Opry is well known as one of the best family attractions in the Big South Fork and Lake Cumberland area. The band is made up of veteran musicians and singers, including the widely popular Sarah Patrick, local singer and songwriter. Sarah has a fresh, yet familiar, quality to her voice and is one of the most promising new song writers of her time.

The band includes frontman, Hap Strunk, Accoustic guitar, and vocals, Bridgett Turner-Gambrel, bass guitar, Audie McQueary, pedal steel guitar/vocals,

Terry Wariner, drums/vocals, Maurice “Tooley” Daulton, piano/vocals, and Tristan New, Guitar.
