Private land owners visit county to learn about wildlife habitiat development

Biologists, foresters, and fire managers recently conducted day-long workshops about habitat management, wildlife biology, and cost-share programs for private landowners.  Participants toured areas of the Stearns Ranger District in McCreary County.  E.J. Bunzendahl, U.S. Forest Service, and Jason Lupardus, National Wild Turkey Federation, are shown discussing the importance of land management to develop a variety of wildlife habitats.
