Ford Brothers Auctioneers Celebrate 50 Years in Business

Fifty years ago the average home in was valued at $21,500 today that same house would be valued at   $165,000.  Suffice to say, many things have changed in the last fifty years.  However, the same philosophy of doing business; of treating everyone fairly; giving unmatched customer service; giving the full measure of respect and dignity are still the same at Ford Brothers Auctioneers.

Ford Brothers was started by Sam Ford over 50 years ago and now has four offices located in London, Richmond, Somerset and the original office in Mount Vernon.  Today there are a total of over twenty auctioneers and apprentice auctioneers on staff at Ford Brothers.  Ford Brothers also are specialists in Simulcast, Online Only and Onsite Auctions using the latest technology to reach the largest and most fertile buying audience.  No stone is left unturned in promoting the auctions, by using a calculated blend of traditional and digital media.  All auction marketing and promotional materials are constantly monitored for top quality and maximum reach and exposure. Ford Brothers has been actively involved with the Kentucky Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association and Sam Ford has been inducted into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame and also served as the President National Auctioneers Association from 1983 through 1984. Judy Ford was also inducted into the National Auctioneers Hall of Fame. Danny Ford won a lifetime achievement award and has been inducted into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame.  Devin Ford currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association. Danetta Ford Allen was the first female to server as the Kentucky Auctioneers President and Matt Ford was inducted into the Marknet Alliance Hall of Fame.
