Alleged predator indicted
The McCreary County Grand Jury released 15 indictments against 17 individuals this month, including a man accused of attempting to lure a 14-year-old girl to his motel room for illicit purposes.
Kyle A. Rayborn, 22, of Georgetown, was charged with one count of Unlawful use of Electronic Means to Induce a Minor to Engage in Sexual or other Prohibited Activities for reportedly sending electronic messages to the minor with the purpose of convincing her to meet him to engage in sexual activities on December 23.
He was also charged with one count of Distribution of Obscene Matter to a Minor and three counts of Sexual Abuse First Degree for allegedly subjecting the child to obscene photos and videos.
Rayborn was arrested that same evening after a family member of the child informed authorities that the 14-year-old girl had gotten in to a vehicle with a man whom they believed was an online predator.
He was apprehended a short time later. The child was found to be in the vehicle and safely returned to her family.
Darrell Koger, of Stearns, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after allegedly being found with 3.453 grams of methamphetamine and items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances on August 4.
Timothy Whitehead, of Whitley City, was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Intoxicants after reportedly being found on January 5 with a quantity of Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Alprazolam and Phentermine, and while driving while under the influence.
Beverly Risner, of Strunk, was indicted on one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree after allegedly having in her possession a quantity of methamphetamine on December 12.
Ivan Musgrove, of Pine Knot, was Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Second Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence for reportedly having a quantity of buprenorphine and items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances on September 21, and for destroying or altering physical evidence. He was also charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
Shawn Francis, of Clinton, Tennessee, was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for allegedly having quantities of methamphetamine, morphine and items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances on January 5.
Nancy Doran, of Pine Knot, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree, Possession of Drug paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree and Possession of a Legend Drug for reportedly having in her possession over 2 grams of methamphetamine for the purpose of sale, items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances, a quantity of Xanax and gabapentin on May 16.
Rhonda Kim King and Jack King, both of Strunk, were charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trafficking in a Legend Drug for allegedly having over 2 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of Neurontin for the purpose of sale and items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances.
Charlene Campbell, of Pine Knot, was charged with three counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree for reportedly having quantities of methamphetamine, heroin and bath salts for the purpose of sale, She was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for having items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances on May 3.
Jeff Thompson, of Marshes Siding, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree for reportedly having a quantity of methamphetamine for the purpose of sale on January 24. He also faces Persistent Felony Offender charges after a 2008 felony conviction of Theft by Unlawful Taking.
Ryan Wilson and Melinda Keith, both of Stearns, were charged with two counts each of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for allegedly having a quantity of methamphetamine and Oxycodone for the purpose of sale and items commonly used for the ingestion and/or distribution of illegal controlled substances on February 1.
Darrell Crabtree, of Winfield, Tennessee, was charged with two counts of Burglary Third Degree and two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500 for allegedly breaking in to the Oaks storage buildings and taking items valued over $500 on August 21.
Billy Steele, of Parkers Lake, was charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon for reportedly being found with a handgun on May 13.
Sarah Shaver, was charged with Flagrant Non Support for reportedly failing to make court-ordered child support payments for her three children for not less than six consecutive months for an arrearage of more than $1,000.
Dustin Spradlin, of Pine Knot, was charged with Flagrant Non Support for reportedly failing to make court-ordered child support payments for his child for not less than six consecutive months for an arrearage of more than $1,000.
