Getting Ready for the Farmers’ Market

Sharon Spencer from the KY proud division of the KY Department of Agriculture recently met with individuals interested in learning more about marketing and selling at the local Farmers’ Market.  Carl Jones was the winner of the door prize-a free season set up at the Market.  The McCreary County Farmers’ Market is scheduled to open on Derby Day-May 6.  The Market is located adjacent to the McCreary County Soil Conservation Office off Cabin Creek Road.
