Park KickOff opening delayed
Due to forecasted bad weather the celebration has been pushed back 1 week
Children will be able to make a splash at the McCreary County Park as it hosts its Summer Kick off Celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the just completed children’s splash pad and spotlights the recently completed outdoor basketball courts, lighted Little League field # 1, and new playground equipment.
Weather permitting, the Kick Off will be next Saturday, June 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the McCreary County Park shelter adjacent to the multi-purpose building. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the splash pad will be at 12:00 p.m. followed by an afternoon of free food, face painting, ice cream, and opportunities for children and adults to enjoy the park.
