Three arrested in bizarre kidnapping case
Three people have been arrested in a strange case of a Friday evening kidnapping.
Officers responded to a residence on Mose Musgrove Road around 9:08 p.m. Friday night after receiving a report of a naked man claiming he had been assaulted and kidnapped.
Upon arrival deputies spoke with the victim who stated he had been picked up by three individuals in a van, who held him at gunpoint and assaulted him with a handgun. The victim said he lost consciousness at some point during the incident, then was thrown from the van without clothes.
The victim was able to identify his accused assailants, and they were located about five hours later and taken in to custody.
Steven Leon Johnson (AKA Turtles), 44, of Furguson, Matthew Harness (AKA Nine Mile), 29, of Burnside, and Faith Sizemore, 31, of Strunk, were all arrested and charged with Kidnapping, Assault 1st Degree and Robbery 2nd Degree, and lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center.
Deputy Cody Stephens is leading the investigation in the case and was assisted by Deputies Alex Jones, Milford Creekmore, Greg Chaney, Terry Baker and Kentucky State Police Trooper D. Jones.
