Stearns Homecoming

Folks gathered in Stearns to celebrate the 4th of July Homecoming. The celebration was filled with fireworks, carnival rides, food and fun. A military ceremony paid tribute to our country’s freedom.

Members of The Charles E. Moore Post 5127 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars participated in an Independence Day ceremony. Joe Worley, Danny DeLaughter and Thomas Corder are pictured above.
Organized by The McCreary County Heritage Foundation, this years spectacular 4th of July fireworks display was sponsored by businesses, organizations and individuals throughout the community.
