Raider Golf finishes second in match at Wayne Co.

The McCreary Central boys’ golf team finished second in a three-team match at Wayne County on Monday.

Host Wayne County won the match by shooting a 150. The Raiders turned in a 186 to finish second while Southwestern placed third with a 220.
McCreary Central Coach Derrick Smith was pleased with his team’s performance.

“This was our best nine-hole performance of the year,” Smith said. “We’re making improvements each week.

Evan Kidd led McCreary Central with a 43.

Individual results for McCreary Central were as follows: Evan Kidd – 43, Riley Richmond – 47, Grant Hamner – 47, Ben Barnett – 49.
