Lady Raiders Soccer drop games to Whitley & Pulaski County

The McCreary Central Lady Raiders have suffered back-to-back losses, falling to both Whitley County and Pulaski County.

Whitley County blanked the host Lady Raiders 4-0 in a girls’ high school soccer game on Monday.
Dealing McCreary Central its second straight loss on Tuesday, visiting Pulaski County blanked the Lady Raiders 5-0.

Following the loss to Pulaski County, McCreary Central dropped to 7-6.

With the win over the Lady Raiders, Pulaski County improved to 8-6.

Through 15 games, opponents have outscored the Lady Raiders 39-23. However, McCreary Central boasts wins over Clinton County, Knox Central, Bell County, Clinton County and Wayne County. The Lady Raiders have defeated Clinton County, Wayne County and Bell County two times each,

McCreary Central is scheduled to host Middlesboro on Thursday then entertain Garrard County in another upcoming home game on Monday.

The Lady Raiders have additional regular-season games remaining versus Southwestern and Casey County.
McCreary Central will compete in the 47th District Girls’ Soccer Tournament in October.
