STEARNS – The McCreary Central girls’ soccer team enjoyed a stellar season, finishing the 2017 campaign 9-9-0.
“I think the season went great,” said McCreary Central Coach Jennifer Stogsdill. “This is our best season ever. The team is coming right along. ”
Numerous played stepped up for the Lady Raiders throughout the 2017 season.
“We had several scorers this year, which included Makenzi Cox with eight goals, Molly Phillips with five goals, Rylee King with five goals, Laura Hamlin with two goals, Bradley Powell with two goals, Shana Stephens with two goals, Dacey Heath with one goal and Kendall Smith with one goal. We are losing two important seniors this year – Gabrielle Wisner, who is our goalie and Kaylan Stogsdill, who is defense.”
All players in the McCreary Central girls’ soccer program have been committed. “I have been amazed with the growth and change from all of the girls in our program,” Stogsdill added. “They put their hearts and souls into playing this game which is awesome.”
