McCreary Central to compete in Cave Lake Fall Classic

MONTICELLO – The McCreary Central High School cross country program is set to compete in the Cave Lake Fall Classic on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Wayne County is serving as the host of the Cave Lake Fall Classic.

The event will be staged on Old KY Loop 3/Cave Lake Road in the Mill Springs community of Wayne County.

In addition to McCreary Central, Alvin C. York Institute, Barbourville, Berea, Casey County, Corbin, Cordia, Cumberland County, East Jessamine, Jackson County, Johnson Central Knox Central, Leslie County, Lincoln County, Lynn Camp, North Laurel, Pulaski County, Russell County, Somerset, Whitley County and Williamsburg are poised to compete in the Wayne County-hosted event.

Results from the Cave Lake Fall Classic will appear in next week’s edition.

McCreary Central is preparing to return to competition after excelling in the Lake Cumberland Runners Fall XC Invite on Saturday, Oct. 7.
