Southwestern wins 48th District title

Southwestern outlasted Wayne County 3-2 in the 48th District Volleyball Tournament title match on Tuesday.

With the win, Southwestern improved to 21-13.

Wayne County dropped to 19-14 with the loss.

Both Southwestern and Wayne County advance to the 12th Region Volleyball Tournament.

Southwestern won the district championship match 25-20, 23-25, 25-10, 23-25, 15-7.
