Whitley City Elementary School Supports Literacy “The Great Pumpkin Race”

This year, Whitley City Elementary drifted into the fall spirit by having their 3rd annual pumpkin decorating contest. Throughout the week, WCE students were invited to support literacy by decorating a pumpkin representing their favorite book or book character. Students were able to bring in a decorated pumpkin to the school library and enter it into “The Great Pumpkin Race” contest. We would like to thank all the students who participated in this year’s contest. We were incredibly excited to see all the hard work and creativity that was put into each pumpkin.
