Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Jones Home & Farm Center

The McCreary County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Jones Home & Farm Center formerly Dolen’s Furniture and Appliances in Whitley City. With Matt Jones owning the property and Chad Jones as company owner, the store offers a complete line of Maytag, Whirlpool, Amana, and Kitchen Aid appliances. In addition, the store has furniture and mattresses. Several improvements have been made including clearing the property, constructing rental storage units, adding a storage building for the business, and other remodeling efforts. According to the two entrepeneurs, they were approached about purchasing the property and decided to answer when opportunity knocked.
