Jordan Tucker signs with Lindsey Wilson College
- McCreary Central High School senior Jordan Tucker made his college choice official on Tuesday, signing with the Lindsey Wilson College cross country program. Tucker was a team captain for the McCreary Central High School cross country program and finished 23rd in the state earlier in the schoolyear.

STEARNS – McCreary Central High School senior Jordan Tucker will continue running cross country in college and he’ll do so at an in-state school. Tucker made his college choice official on Tuesday, signing with Lindsey Wilson College during a ceremony held at McCreary Central High School.
Tucker was a leader for the McCreary Central cross country team throughout his senior season. The talented Tucker finished 23rd in the Class 2A State Cross Country Meet at the Kentucky Horse Park in early-November. Tucker completed the 5,000 meter run in 17:37.42.
As a team, under the direction of head coach Trevor Tucker, McCreary Central placed 12th in the Class 2A state meet.
Tucker excelled as a cross country runner throughout his high school career. A standout student-athlete, Tucker also thrives in the classroom.
The Lindsey Wilson College men’s cross country team finished fifth at the Mid-South Conference Championships held at Phil Moore Park in early-November. Shawnee State (Ohio) won the Mid-South Conference team title with a score of 31.
Jordan Tucker will have the chance to compete against some of the nation’s top runners beginning in the fall. Along with Lindsey Wilson and Shawnee State, Campbellsville, Cumberland, Georgetown, Life, Pikeville and University of the Cumberlands compete in the tradition-rich Mid-South Conference.
