As a team, under the direction of head coach Trevor Tucker, McCreary Central placed 12th in the Class 2A state meet.
Tucker excelled as a cross country runner throughout his high school career. A standout student-athlete, Tucker also thrives in the classroom.
The Lindsey Wilson College men’s cross country team finished fifth at the Mid-South Conference Championships held at Phil Moore Park in early-November. Shawnee State (Ohio) won the Mid-South Conference team title with a score of 31.
Jordan Tucker will have the chance to compete against some of the nation’s top runners beginning in the fall. Along with Lindsey Wilson and Shawnee State, Campbellsville, Cumberland, Georgetown, Life, Pikeville and University of the Cumberlands compete in the tradition-rich Mid-South Conference.
