McCreary man arrested in Laurel County drug investigation

Laurel County Sheriff John Root reports the arrest of four individuals as a result of a drug investigation Friday at a residence approximately seven miles west of London.
The investigation began after developing information of possible drug activity as well as the possibility of stolen property being located at the residence.
Officers recovered a stolen 4 wheeler, a stolen pistol, and a large quantity of stolen tools. In addition, deputies found a large amount of crystal meth, pills including oxycodone, Xanax, Suboxone, methadone and clonazepam along with paraphernalia including digital scales, plastic bags, baggies, and spoons. There were numerous outstanding warrants for individuals there also.
Arrested were:
Oscar Dwayne Martin, 46, of Pine Knot on charges of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more and three Laurel County outstanding bench warrants.
Christopher Allen Cornett, 44, of London on charges of two counts of conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense; trafficking in marijuana; three counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
Michael Lee Loudermilk, 31, of London, charged with marijuana; receiving stolen property $10,000 or more; a second charge of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more and various Laurel County bench warrants.
Zachery Ryan Polly age 24 of Corbin, charged with receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
All 4 individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Detective Kyle Gray continues the investigation with additional arrests possible..
Sheriff John Root stated that the drug investigations will be continuing.
