Yamacraw Bridge Cleanup Day Saturday March 24

Join Big South Fork NRRA and McCreary County in cleaning up a small, but popular section of the Sheltowee Trace NRT in preparation for a busy spring season. Participants are welcome to help beautify the area between the historic K&T Heritage Trail bridge and the Highway-92 Yamacraw bridge, in Stearns, Kentucky.
When: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (ET).
Where: Meet at the Hwy-92 Yamacraw Bridge River Access (west side) parking lot. Parking is limited. It is encouraged to carpool from the Big South Fork Scenic Railway Depot in Stearns, KY.
What to bring: Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves, and long pants, water, insect repellent, and gloves.
Trash bags and trash grabbers will be provided.
Boats will not be available—all paddlers will need to a wear life vest and carry a whistle.
