Raiders win Lindsey Wilson Invitational

COLUMBIA – The McCreary Central boys’ track and field team won the Lindsey Wilson College Invitational on Saturday.
Also faring well in the meet held over the weekend, the McCreary Central girls’ track and field team placed second.
The McCreary Central boys’ team won six different events and notched 26 top 5 finishes.
First place finishers for the McCreary Central boys’ team were Tyler Strunk (800 Meter Run), Jordan Tucker (1 Mile, 2 Mile), Zach Gibson (110 Hurdles) and Calob Cox (High Jump, Long Jump).
The McCreary Central girls’ team won three separate events and notched 11 top 5 finishes.
First place finishers for the McCreary Central girls’ team were Kalidora Bolin (200 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Dash) and Cortney Phillips (High Jump).
McCreary Central competed in its second event of the young 2018 high school track and field season.
