National Prayer Day

McCreary Countians celebrated the 4th annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3 at the Senior Citizens’ Building in the McCreary County Park. The event featured speakers from various local denominations as well as the Lower Hickory Grove Children’s School Choir, Journeys End, and the McCreary Central ROTC Color Guard. This year’s theme was “Pray for America-Unity” with an emphasis on Ephesians 4:3 that reads, “Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
